Fix Lyria 3.5 music generation problems
Check account access, credits, task status, audio playback, and expired downloads without accidentally creating duplicate paid tracks.
The Generate button asks me to sign in
Browsing and writing prompts do not need an account. Starting a generation does. Sign in with Google, return to the preserved form, then submit the prompt. Your PlayLyria account has its own music credit balance.
If sign-in is not available yet, you can still prepare a prompt or browse the library. A sign-in message is not a generation failure and does not spend a credit.
I do not have enough credits
Open My Music to check available and reserved credits. A credit reserved for an ongoing task cannot also fund a second track. Wait for that task to finish or choose a credit pack when purchases are available.
If you just paid, allow time for payment confirmation. Returning from checkout does not itself add credits. The payment status page checks the order, and your balance updates after confirmation.
My task says “Checking your result”
This means the original request has an uncertain result. It is not an instruction to press Generate repeatedly. The service checks for the existing audio and does not automatically request a second paid track.
You can leave the page and return to My Music. If audio cannot be delivered within the service’s 30-minute handling window, the reserved credit is returned. That return is a music credit, not a card refund.
I refreshed the page while generating
Sign in to the same account and open the generator or My Music. History comes from your account, so a task is not lost just because a browser tab closed. A private or different browser may not contain your unsent local draft, but it can still retrieve account history after sign-in.
The audio will not play
Press play; PlayLyria does not autoplay results. Check the player’s mute setting and your device volume. If playback still fails, try the MP3 download and open the file in a local player.
Verify the expiry date. Private audio is stored for 30 days after delivery. An expired or deleted file cannot be recreated from its original URL. Generating again produces a new track with a new charge.
The music does not follow my request
Generation can vary in duration, instrumentation, structure, and vocal delivery. Use fewer conflicting instructions and name the most important part of the arrangement. For accidental vocals, see the instrumental guide.
A delivered track that you dislike does not automatically qualify for a free generation. Save the version you have, revise the prompt, and treat the next generation as a separate track.
I am using the API directly
Check the exact model ID, API endpoint, project access, billing status, and available quota. Use the official model documentation and music API documentation. Do not assume an error from another Lyria model describes the same product.
